The 1950’s gave our world countless legends who would later become pop culture icons. The symbolism, success, sexuality, and stories that define the era of Rock n’ Roll and the explosion of raw talent, genuine greatness and originality that captivated an entire generation and forever changed the world has since been imitated but never duplicated.

For many the 50’s was the end of the innocence. Rebels and Rebettes™ were Rocking, Bopping and Shocking to the sound that would redefine music and knock old age critics off their feet!

Sexy sounds, Greased up pomps, poodle shirts, black slacks, blue jeans, penny loafers, sweaters sets, leather jackets, jet black sun glasses and let us not to forget an all time favorite the ’57 Chevy Bel Air.

Bill Haley and the Comets, Elvis Presley, Bo Didley, Carl Perkin, Patsy Cline, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Richie “Valens” Valezuela are the pioneers of Rock n’ Roll and our way of life. They have always been a source of inspiration for King Cat and as such they live in the soul of our designs forever.

King Cat the Sentinel of Cool and Guardian of Grease™ pays tribute to the greatest era in the history of music. Before studio enhancement, sampling, corporate control, and cookie cutter artists. It was raw, true, raunchy, dangerous and defiant! It is the roots from which all forms of Rock were spawn. It can be summed up in three simple words, Rock and Roll! We honor all “OG” Original Greasers™ with our CLASS OF ‘57™ line.
